Various Letterings {2012-2014}

Hand-done lettering has always been, and continues to be, a huge passion of mine. Whenever I have the opportunity to create unique typography I jump, quite aggressively, at the chance to do so. It's downright fun, using different utensils, experimenting with various techniques, and hopefully, if all goes to plan, creating something enjoyable.

Below is a collection of various typographic compositions I've accumlated over the past two years. Enjoy.
"Handmade in Brooklyn" - Used a Faber-Castell PITT "big brush" pen.
"Bushwick" - Hand-painted using black acrylic paint and "bright" tipped paint brush. Done for a New York basketball project.
"Nets" - Done for a Dodger's-inspired Brooklyn Nets graphic. Digitally created based on an old typographic specimen I found through research.
"New York" - Drawn for fun in the anticipation of my trip to New York. Hand-painted using acrylic paint and a "round" tipped paint brush.
"Stay Hungry" - Drawn as an inspirational reminder to always stay hungry. Drew this one at a small scale with a pencil and then refined using a technical pen. I then treated it in photoshop.
"Monday Funday" - Created for a fun GIF. Painted using watercolor ink and a "flat" tipped paint brush.
"Bryant" - Created with a Faber-Castell PITT "big brush" pen.
"Tennis" - Done for the Sony Open Tennis tournament. Created using a Faber-Castell PITT "big brush" pen.
"Tennis" - For Sony Open Tennis 2014. Drawn using a pencil, vectored, and manipulated in AI.
"Tennis" - For Sony Open Tennis 2014. Drawn using a Faber-Castell PITT "big brush" pen.
"Typography" - Done for practice. Used a Faber-Castell PITT brush pen and refined with a technical pen.
